Elements Earth follows in the footsteps of the previous volume: Fire. It is an all-ages and LGBTQ+ friendly comic anthology focused on creators of color sharing comics with an EARTH theme.
The book will be 272-pages, standard graphic novel sized and printed in black & white with a beautiful Pantone spot color. It is also packed with original stories that show our representation in science fiction, fantasy and more!
ELEMENTS still stands firmly as a representative that we need diverse creators more than we need diverse books.
We are committed to tell stories where we’re not only the main characters, we’re the defending the generation of voices that will come after us all.
We’re here to take on the status quo and bring representation of our ethnicities, gender, and sexuality to the forefront!
By 2018, Elements: Fire became an award-winning success that took home both an Ignatz for “Outstanding Anthology” and the Eisner award for “Best Anthology.” And in 2019 ELEMENTS: Earth will be the second book from Ascend Comics, a publishing company which I co-founded with Der-shing Helmer.
